Christleton Launches New Classes
Christleton’s leading leisure centre is broadening access to classes to help families get fit together.
Christleton Sports Centre, run by Chester and District Sports and Recreation Trust (CADSART), is introducing more evening and Saturday classes including Power Yoga and Pilates suitable for all ages and abilities.
They are also introducing a new combined adult and junior price across all classes so parents and their children can exercise together.
Jon Kelly, operations manager of CADSART, said the new combined pricing system will make it easier for families to exercise together.
“The new year is the perfect time to adopt a new healthier lifestyle and the combined pricing system and extra classes means that families will be able to take on the challenge together,” he said. “Getting fit is a hobbie which the whole family can share in – mums and daughters, brothers and sisters, even granddads and granddaughters.”
The new classes at Christleton Sports Centre include Power Yoga and Pilates on a Thursday night and Pilates on a Saturday morning. The classes are already running at Northgate Arena and are very popular with customers.
“The instructor Claire Darlington always has a full class at Northgate Arena and we’re expecting the classes at Christleton to be just as successful,” he said. “We’ve scheduled the extra classes for weekends and evenings to make it as easy as possible for families to exercise together.”
Christleton will also be opening the swimming pool for public use during the daytime on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12 noon to 1.30pm – ideal for that lunchtime swim to help get fit and de-stress from a busy morning at work.
CADSART are a charitable organisation which also run Northgate Arena, Woodford Lodge Sports Centre and Malpas Sports Centre. |
