Class Guidelines
Booking is required for all Group Fitness Classes.
Bookings may be made up to 7 days in advance. Payment is required at the time of booking.
Please retain your ticket and hand it to your instructor at the start of the class ensuring to make them aware of any illnesses or medical conditions that may affect your ability to exercise. Also let your instructor know if this is your first class.
Class Descriptions
Aquacise
A good fun workout with the added support and resistance of water to tone, strengthen & burn fat. Open to non-swimmers. A great class for all abilities, pre / post natal & anyone with joint problems or injuries.
Body Pump
Body Pump is the world’s first class to combine high repetition weight training with aerobic conditioning. It will tone, strengthen and condition your whole body using barbells & adjustable weights. Can help you lose weight and above all else is a fun and motivating workout led by highly skilled Instructors. Be Warned….. BODY PUMP WILL CHANGE THE SHAPE OF YOUR BODY!!!
Bootcamp Circuit
In circuit class, your challenge is to take your body to its limit. You work, you sweat and, best of all, you burn calories like crazy. Get seriously fit with a workout ‘Not for the faint-hearted’.
Burn & Firm
By kicking up your heart rate and having more muscle on your body, you can enjoy what you eat and still control your weight. Includes cardiovascular training with fun & motivating ways to boost your energy and burn up fat, strength training to firm and build more muscle so your body eats up calories around the clock. You’ll use the step, weights, body bars & bands – suitable for all abilities.
Bums, Legs & Tums
A tough conditioning class to tighten those bits we love to hate, bums, thighs, tums, everything from the waist down
Bums, Legs & Tums On The Ball
This exceptional stability ball workout is an incredible way to shape up with moves that are simple, fun & easy on the joints. Fantastic deep conditioning for the abs & back, sculpt your legs and shape your butt. Includes full body stretching adapted from yoga poses.
Easy Line
This quick training circuit programme offers a friendly, informal atmosphere where you can find non-intimidating and easy-to-use equipment that combines strength and aerobic exercises. Easy Line delivers a total body workout - you’ll see fast results.
Nifty Fifties – Top To Toe
A fun & lively workout suitable for 50+ and ‘returners to exercise’. This class stimulates circulation, eases stiffness and is an enjoyable way to condition the heart & lungs. Provides body conditioning to shape & sculpt the whole body. “We do not stop playing because we grow old - We grow old because we stop playing… Never be the first to get old!”
Simply Step
A great cardio workout without the fancy footwork, increase fitness levels as well as increasing fat burning benefits. Good class for beginners.
The Next Step
A challenging & more advanced step workout, diverse combinations of non-stop exercises will keep your body moving & your heart rate pumping. The choreography feels good and you’ll learn how to do it step by step.
Speciality Dance
A fun and energetic class for people with special needs.
Pilates / Total Body Pilates
Enjoy a complete body workout that zero’s in on your abdominals & strengthens your back. Learn to breathe from your ‘powerhouse’, the area of the body from which all movement should begin.
Total Tone & Stretch
A great strength and relaxation class for the body and mind. Improves posture, mobility and helps to tone and stretch your muscles.
Yogalates
Yoga with the muscle strengthening and toning of Pilates. Yogalates will leave you looking your best but will improve your posture, strengthen your body and spine and act as a release valve against stress.

The ACTIVE membership is by far the most cost effective way of looking good and feeling great from as little as £23.00 per month. The membership is payable by direct debit and subject to an initial 6 months contract; thereafter we require 2 months notice of cancellation.

The Monthly payment Scheme offers a non-committed payment option for customers who do not wish to be tied into a contract but enjoy the fantastic value of a monthly pass. The scheme is on a one-month rolling membership payable by direct debit.
